There's something about Telluride that feels like it was made for love stories, and Tiara and Jacob's day at the Baker House was proof of that. Golden light on the peaks, the first whisper of fall in the aspens, and two people who clearly adore each other, this was a wedding built on quiet intention rather than perfection. The morning started just for the two of them. Coffee on the balcony, the mountains, and private vows shared before the celebrations started. It's my favorite kind of moment, the ones that happen before anyone else is watching, when love gets to be simple and unscripted for a little while. By the time the ceremony began, the clouds had rolled in, and rain fell softly as Tiara and Jacob stood before their people. Somehow, it only added to the moment. There's an honesty to a rainy wedding, a reminder that the best love stories aren't about controlling the weather but choosing each other through it. Afterward, we wandered a nearby trail for a few stolen portraits, just the two of them and the mountains wrapped around them. They laughed the whole way back, still soaking it all in. Then it was time to celebrate. Two groomsmen created the wedding cake right there in front of everyone, laughter and flour flying everywhere, the guests cheering them on. It was silly and sweet and so perfectly them. As the sky turned into shades of orange and pink, the day wound down the way all the best ones do, full, a little messy, and completely full of love.
